UTECabin is the product of a lifelong passion for camping and 4WD adventures. After exploring various camping options such as swags, tents, rooftop tents, caravans, vans, and camper trailers, the search for luxury, comfort, easy travel, and quick setup led to the development of the perfect solution: the UTECabin. The UTECabin provides unparalleled luxury and comfort without the need for vehicle modifications, surpassing the experience of even some cramped motel rooms.

Inspiration struck when encountering pick-up slide-on truck campers in Germany and the USA with slide-out rooms, offering expanded living spaces. It was puzzling why these designs were not available in Australia. This was probably due to being too expensive to import and also the heavy weight designed for large USA truck pick ups. However, fate intervened when a fellow camper enthusiast who is an engineer had similar experiences and took the initiative to build his own pick-up camper based on the USA designs.

A partnership was formed, and now there is a brand new state of the art purpose-built factory in Thailand to bring these innovative campers to life. Together, the two friends embarked on perfecting the slide-on camper concept for UTES in Australia, equipped with all the luxury features to enhance the outdoors experience. What sets the Ute Cabin camper apart is the inclusion of a slide-out room, and King size bed unique features not found in any other slide on camper in Australia.
